As the Decepticons at the rear of the ship waited, more of their allies appeared every moment. As they converged, there was less and less fighting on the Ark. After a bit, Megatron appeared, hovering above the ranks. Bruticus was waiting by one of the engines near the back of the group. "My glorious Decepticons! This battle is unwinnable. However much I would love to crush the Autobots, securing a base and obtaining Energon is more important right now!" His voice boomed as so all could hear (part in thanks to Soundwave), "However, this does not mean we will be leaving the Autobot's alone, WE SHALL RETURN!" he placed extra emphasis on the last part. "Soundwave, inform everyone of the location of the Nemesis, we shall regroup there!" he said to his subordinate. Soundwave nodded, and soon the Decepticons started heading to the Nemesis wreck.

A few Decepticon soldiers stopped during the retreat to try and squish a bug they noticed ((Pyrrah)). It was fair, seeing as how Megatron made them retreat. This whole falling back thing had them pissed, they were reminded of Starscream's pathetic rule.

(Somewhere on Cybertron, a severely wounded Starscream sneezed somehow. It was the first time such a thing had ever happened to him, and he was disturbed by it.)
