Zac grins and says, "Thanks, guys. You won't have to worry about me getting in the way or anything. Besides, it's always nice to have an extra set of hands in case any Heartless show up." Just then, his two friends walk away from the group and into the shadows. Zac moves to follow them, but stops. Why would they walk away without telling him? Odds are, whatever they wanted to talk about didn't concern him or was about something they figured would worry him. Or maybe they're planning on leaving you, some voice deep within him suggests. Maybe they figured out that you were dead weight, that all they needed was that key of Kali's and Althea can use her magic in case anything went wrong. What use are you? That's not true, Zac argues. They'd never leave me! Are you so sure? the voice persists. All you're good for is hitting things and flying the Gummi ship. As soon as they start talking about plans or whatnot, your mind starts wandering. When they finally realize you have nothing but your fists to contribute to the group, if they haven't already, they'll leave you behind. Althea and Kali are smart girls, they could no doubt figure out how to fly the ship by themselves. Face it, Zacary...all you're good for is rushing in and putting everyone in danger. Zac looks down at his food, which he had barely touched. He knows there's no possible way that the girls would leave him stranded on this world, but still...the voice was right. He wasn't smart, he knew that much. He had the attention span of an ADHD squirrel, making the simple task of planning impossible for him. What would happen when they come across a problem that needed to be thought out ahead of time? Would Althea and Kali's brains be enough or would his recklessness get them all killed? He was so wrapped up in his doubts and worries that he didn't even notice when the girls came back.
