Well fireballs would be strong enough to kill one especially two fireballs. They are highly resistant to natural weapons though like arrows or swords. Their insect like so you would have to go for weak points. Mostly at the joints. I say keep the fireball part and alter the dagger ones. You can still go for the throat just going to have to climb for it and avoid its natural weapons which are its cleaver like feet.
