Age: 24 (when abducted). Scar/Tattoo: The tattoo appears to spread out from its original scar at the base of her neck, across both shoulders, down her biceps and curled around the neck, in thick black lines that almost seem to resemble vines. Powers/Abilities: Animal mimicry – can use/imitate animal abilities, i.e. run like an ostrich, swing like a monkey, sprint like a cheetah, move like a cat, take the strength of an ant, track like a dog, constrict like a snake, and so on. Cannot transform into animals, cannot mimic multiple animal abilities at once. Personality: Connie is an intellectual and an easily fascinated young scientist. She considers even the slightest intrigue something to be studied and marvelled at. Biology and behavioural science makes her happy in the most giddy way, like a child on Christmas morning. As such, she has a very logical mind and values organisation. She's the type of person to think, plan and triple-check carefully before she makes a move, and this sometimes leaves her behind, and likely to panic if something is not planned. She experiences mild symptoms of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, with increased severity in times of panic. Connie is friendly to most people, always happy to accept someone into her sparse social circle as long as they don't mind her spouting off animal facts, and while strangers tend to see her as a person stuck in her own world, she completely understands what's going on around her. She is only ever aggressive when upset or her work is compromised. Bio: Before abduction, Connie was a junior research scientist at the Baxter Institute of Zoology, which her father formed a decade before her birth. Encouraged from a young age to study and work hard, she developed into a bright young woman. But the hours of studying meant that Connie had few lasting friendships and relationships were even rarer. She loved her work, and usually didn't mind if it got in the way of a social life. She learned that study and work were an excellent distraction from the trials of everyday life. When her parents divorced, she sought comfort in her myriad of pets. Her father kept a good amount of both research animals and domestic pets in the house, and they acted as Connie's first and longest friends. She never quite understood why people were afraid to hold her snakes. After high school and college, where she lagged in basic studies but excelled at her chosen subjects, her father gave her a job at his central research facility. Connie felt like she found her place at the institute, among people with an equal fascination to hers, and quickly befriended the other researchers. She conducted a number of studies into the social behaviour of animals, as well as the medicinal uses of animal biology, but never made any drastically new discoveries. Nonetheless, she was comfortable and happy. She wished for nothing more from life. And then she woke up in 2025. Other: Will add more later if necessary.
