First a strong kick to initiate the fight, followed by a hard jab, an elbow, a kick. Yumi kept switching up her method of striking as she went after Viral, trying to make it impossible for him to know what she was doing next. It seemed to be working, she was getting past his defenses fairly often and managing to deal some decent hits. He wanted to train a bit more seriously after all, so she was going to treat this a little more like an actual fight. As one hit after another landed she noticed his guard gradually weakening and Viral was losing ground as well. With a last good strike she managed to topple him over this time, watching as he fell onto the ground. Hitting an opponent while down like this was just lowly, she didn't want to do that, certainly not with a friend. So rather than strike him again Yumi immediately pounced, landing on the Beastman with a small smirk. Putting her hands on his biceps and straddling his waist she tried to keep him pinned down, giving him no choice in the matter as best she could. "So, do I win now? Or do you want to keep going?" she mused, cocking her head to the side, an excited gleam in her eyes. "I'm having fun, I don't know about you though." "T'charrl, trust us, we're taking you along because we want to. That's the reason for it, so don't think so low of yourself, okay? We're all friends here, that's why we're traveling together." Who would have thought that Takeshi of all people would be consoling someone. Everything he said though was true, and he meant every word of it. They were a team one way or another, and as a result friends, at least he liked to think so. Hardly the expert on friendship however he was mostly taking a stab in the dark, figuring friends ought to do things like this. It felt right, and it just seemed proper to not have someone around just for some use. After reassuring T'charrl a bit the Saiyan finally dropped down to join his brother, making a soft landing after a quick fall to stand next to Shu. Now, what were they talking about? He kept hearing the word 'god' being thrown around, so was there someone else here too? Watching as the child and mother hurried past them into the den he frowned a bit, wondering why they were scurrying off like that. No one was going to hurt them after all, and it wasn't as if that little hole was the most fortified place anyways. Heck, Shu had literally come in through the roof. Takeshi listened to Shu carefully, not entirely sure what they should do. Looking into what these people called a 'god' could well spell trouble for them no doubt, especially when the father mentioned the god might kill them. For all they knew however this could well be just the thing they were searching for, and not following the lead would be silly. Smacking his own forehead when Shu bolted up and got lightheaded the older boy smiled, hefting his shoulders before scratching at his cheek. "I guess if it means these people don't hate us then we really should, yeah. It's not like we've got anything to hide, so I'm sure we'll be fine." Ah, now for the question about what god was. Like science and space travel it was just another thing that Takeshi wasn't overly versed in. He knew enough to offer some basic insight though, and that was all Shu really needed. "A god is like... Well... A god is like a king, basically. They rule over people and do things for them. And usually a god isn't, er... How to put this... Mortal? Like they can't be killed." Albeit if their supposed god was one of these creatures then it most certainly could be killed, they knew that first hand. "Not that you kill god. Too strong, you weak. Our god strongest of all, yes." The father looked between the trio a bit worriedly, an expression of doubt crossing his features. If these three were anything like the ones before then maybe they could topple the god, it might be possible. It was a long stretch, to be sure, and risky. If it did work though then they would be all the better for it. The relationship with their god was complicated to say the least, as it could be both benevolent and malevolent, often both in short order. Looking between the Saiyans and Kaesstrian he let out a sigh, lowering his head and scratching at one of his ears. "Judge, yes? Can be judged, only by god. We show you, it judge. If good, you friend, if bad, you die. Yes?" Takeshi was pretty confident this little god of theirs wasn't going to be killing anyone. Even if it was one of those monsters from before that didn't make it all that powerful, they could easily handle another or two. Maybe it was arrogance talking, but he was sure they didn't have anything to worry about. "That seems fair. If it's what we've got to do for you to trust us then fine, we'll do it." It was kind of a big decision though, taking on a god. Looking over at Shu and T'charrl he smiled sheepishly, wanting to get their input too. "That is if you guys are up for it. Don't want to drag you into a mess I jumped into."
