I was having a hard time determining population. I ended up on 10,000 citizens in a single city. During the Viking Age, at least 10,000 Englishmen lived in York so I feel that's appropriate. My army will probably be small, but they make up for that due to their incredible fighting ability. Nevertheless, we're dwarfed by our neighbors so I will have to quickly negotiate peace with everyone.
