Well, look what Venom did. He actually did betray the mission. :/ He decided that a 16 year old kid, who had no place being out here getting slaughtered, did not need to die. Then someone else shot the kid. Training does not put in hardened "I am completely ready to fuck your shit and your babies shit too" instincts into the man. That requires full experience. Or being a sociopath.
