Esther has a light complexion as she never goes out much. She’s all of five foot three and about a hundred ten pounds, being a bit on the scrawny side. She lacks feminine curves, although doesn’t mind. Sometimes she can be mistaken for a boy, but once again, doesn’t mind. Her limbs are rather lanky, and don’t have much muscle.

Her face has a bit of a mature angular look to it, which is usually clear of most acne. Behind large prescription glasses, her eyes are a lovely dark brown. Like her eyes, her hair is the same brown, worn that of a messy bob, where the hair is pretty short in the back and longer in the front. Most of the time she doesn’t even style it and it can be described as a bed head. [/hider]

She wears mostly baggy clothes, or rather “boyish” clothes. Her clothes are mostly neutral tones, varying from browns to blacks to greys, or more diluted colors. Her outfits usually comprised of jeans, and a shirt, or a sweater with shorts, or a combination of the two. It doesn’t matter to her, as Esther doesn’t really care much about her outfits. However, she doesn’t want to stand out, hence no bright colors. Her shoes are simple slip-ons that are easy on her feet and can stand several months. [/hider]

Esther’s main trait would be apathetic. That goes for her looks, others’ looks, things going around her, or just in general. She is neutral towards people, not wanting to be on sides, such as that in petty fights.. Esther can also be known to be on the pessimistic side, being the kind of person who sees the glass as half empty. Matched with her uncaring attitude is her laziness. She’d much rather spend her time reading or surfing the web than taking a long walk on the beach.

Esther isn’t much of a people’s person, and can be a bit uncomfortable when around people for long periods of time. Given her reclusiveness, she can be rather socially awkward, so she doesn’t talk much as she has no idea what to say most of the time. [/hider]

She’s a whiz at technology and trivia. She’s fairly intelligent; however, hence the laziness, she doesn’t apply herself much in school, so she often gets low grades. Despite the social awkwardness, she can empathize others and their actions. She also tends to think things through, such as plans or situation. [/hider]

She cannot stand the site of gore or the talk of gore. When exposed to either, she’ll become sick to her stomach. This goes to the same to anything else she deems “gross”, such as childbirth, the human body in general, and already been chewed food. She’s also really fond of cute animals. Esther also tends to overthink things, such as something she could have said instead, and trivial details, like why the alphabet has to be in order. She also can't see squat without her glasses. -Invisibility- This allows her to disappear from sight.

-Force fields- Allows her to project an outward force for means of defense or other means, which gives off a greenish glow. It’s either that of an orb, or a wall. She can move the orb/wall, such as expanding it, or if she traps something in it, she can move both the field and the object. [/hider]

-Invisibility- She can hide from foes, or just people in general, which she tends to avoid. This would help her become stealthy. Esther can make things she touches do the same, not quite yet people but more specifically her clothes.

-Force Fields- It can block physical attacks. As she can move both forms of it, she can push things away. [/hider]

-Invisibility- Although she cannot be seen, she can be heard. This is most affected by her emotions as well, as she can take the phrase “wanting to disappear” quite literally, and if she feels either fear or sadness, she will vanish.

-Force fields- As she can move things inside the orb, heavier the object is, the harder for her to move. Expanding or moving the force fields drains her energy quicker, so it would take more practice if she wanted to shield others. This can also be slightly affected by her emotions, such as if she wants to shut people out, she can literally do this. They also don’t last very long [/hider]

Esther was born to a well off, loving family. She never knew her father who had died of a serious illness when she was younger, but had her older brother and mother. Her brother is nine years older than her, and is very protective. Given so, she’s never had any trouble with bullies, or even school work, as he tried to help as best he could. Given the circumstances of her father’s death, her mother never really was there mentally. Of course she did her best with her kids, feeding them and providing for them, it was Esther’s older brother who mostly raised her.

In middle school, tragedy struck, and her mother had died in a terrible car accident. This caused Esther to sort of reel inside a shell and lock others out. Her brother had to take care of her after the incident which made them both orphans. Esther seemed to cut ties with people, not wanting to get close to them so it wouldn’t hurt if she lost them. 

When high school rolled around, she managed to simply blend in and go about her own business as someone who no one really notices. That is, until she finds her name on the list to partake in the experiment. That was when her brother could no longer protect from danger. [/hider]
