[center][i]A soft chirping fills your ears as the blinding veil of darkness is soon swathed away by the flickering of your eyes. Dimmed sunlight and cloudy skies greet your disorientated vision as your mouth lets out the weakest of groans, your body struggling to even maintain a sitting position. As time seemingly slowly progresses, you soon take into account the environment around you; grassy, rolling plains with the occasional oak tree in the midst of a sea of pale-green vegetation. The skies above you are blacken, the source of such a depraved and hollowed atmosphere emitting from the top of the gradual yet high hill before you. Upon a much closer inspection around you, the sight of other peculiar figures begin to awake from presumably the same disconcerting seems apparent. Holding your chest in slight fear of such alien figures, your eyes widen in an horrific revelation as your jaw begins to slowly drop...[/i]

[i]You are [b]Dead[/b][/i]

[i]The mind races, memories flow rapidly as fear begins to set in like the dawn of a demented sunrise. How can you be dead? You still breath, think, feel, and clearly are not some shambling, undead corpse. As you arise with the other shocked individuals of various backgrounds and stories, a crow soars above the band of misfits. Dropping a small scroll, you watch as the calmest of the unformed group retrieves the tattered piece of paper and begins to recite the words to the bewildered coterie.[/i]

[b]"Thou who are reading this heed my words carefully. Maketh voyage to the Domain of Elyae, where our King sought to save his world by meddling with the workings of forces beyond his control. Once you have stepped your feet upon the glorious city, heed hastily to the Tower of Linette, and at the top of the momentum, your souls will find rest once again. Bewary of the Faceless Ones that wander Elyae, forever damned to trudge through the streets of their accursed city in a violent, destructive state of limbo. I cannot give you any more information, but I can say that I wish you the best of fortunes. I pray that She will bless your souls, Lost Ones. Only you can change the fabrics of fate now."[/b]

[i]Rapid chatter and blabber fills your ears as panic began to slowly set within the group. Faceless Ones? The Tower of Linette? Just where in the hell are you and the rest of these supposed, "Lost Ones"? For what seemed like an eternity, the group had finally resolved their issues and you begin to notice how eerie the smokey clouds seemed to come in the direction of the gradual yet highly-elevated hills before the unfitting band of individuals. Sparking your natural curiosity, you begin to take lead upwards as the other Lost Ones followed you silently up the hill. One step after the other, the smoke's scent grew in intensity, the faint sparking and crackling of embers filling the air like fireworks. As you rest your feet upon the top of the hill, the rest of your hastily-acquainted companions look in a mixture of both shock and determination at the sight before them..

[center]Hello one and all to my very first RP GMing! Now, before I scare you off by saying that, I've had some experience for awhile Co-GMing for a few years and I've recently taken a break from RPing in general. So, I'm refreshed and ready to try something very, very new. As you can clearly tell, this is a Multiverse RP, but not a traditional one in any sense. Instead of taking place in some fixed, bland world or a multitude of worlds, this is taking place in the Medieval Fantasy-era, coastal province of Elyae. Elyae is a massive city, stretching along a small bay that connects with the endless ocean to the east. Geographically, plains and large, borderline mountains surround Elyae from all sides, and the only distinct geographic location is a series of the high, snow-peaked mountain ranges in the north. Our characters would be thrown into a world that they have no idea what to expect, only learning information and backstory of Elyae's universe through NPC Interactions and other sources such as slightly destroyed books. Key RP elements and certain enemies, however, would be revealed in the OOC for the sake of RPing easily.

Another key element to this RP revolves around the concept of abilities and superpowers. From the beginning of this RP, any character that has distinct abilities would not be able to use them. For example, Spiderman can't use his web abilities and Sonic the Hedgehog can't go absurdly fast. However, over time as key events happen, which mostly revolves around defeating bosses, the characters will *level up* if you will. Every time they level up from defeating a boss or doing another extremely key event, they can upgrade/reclaim their existing abilities. For characters that have no special powers in any sense, a piece of equipment could be upgraded or their own physical stature. Of course, I request that when such events happen that it is all posted in OOC where I and whoever my Co-GM is can approve of the upgrade/reclamation

Speaking of which, I should probably get this off my chest whilst I'm still typing. [b]This is only an idea, nothing is really set in stone at the moment.[/b] I wanted to see how much interest this would actually gather to have a Multiverse RP strictly focus on story-based world. If you don't like the idea of everything being in the dark, please be vocal about the idea. I personally like RPs where ever the RPers are not fully sure what they are going to expect, but this type of RP is often a bit risky and often alienates the RPers for good reasons. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, just leave it below. If enough interest is gathered, I'll make a proper OOC with rules, guidelines, etc. etc.
