Estelle gripped her shaking arms, her eyes filled with worry at the sight of the songstress's tear-stained, colorless cheeks and swollen, reddened eyes. Her shoulders and lips were trembling, and Selan wasn't looking at Neil, or Estelle -- she was looking at Josette, the sister of the man she just watched... "Selan?" Estelle said gently. "Estelle, that man, h-he... Don... I..." "I'M GOING TO KICK THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!" Josette screamed, shades of her brother showing in her eyes. "You're not even worth the-- shit!" Neil snarled from the floor in front of his truck. The sounds of muffled screams and shifting erupted from the back of the truck, from the women terrified of whatever had hit the vehicle. Neil raised his hand, summoning a vortex immediately upon seeing the blue-haired woman charging at him again. Josette suddenly stopped in mid-kick; he was right there a second ago! Did he just sink through the floor? "Like I was saying..." Josette's head snapped toward the darkest corner of the room, behind the truck. Neil walked forward, the dim lighting casting a sinister shadow across his face. "... You're not even worth the money it's gonna take to fix that dent." Neil said slowly, a grin spreading across his face. As cocky as he was, his eyes were scanning the room, looking for his katana, which had clattered to the floor somewhere. "Looking for this?" Estelle called. She had left Selan's side, and the katana was in her hands. The blade was still wet with Don's blood, although she hadn't yet pieced together what Selan was trying to say. Neil's cool grey eyes turned icy, and the corner of his mouth twitched in anger. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me. I have a policy on damaging the merch, but if you want to play with swords, I'll make an exception." "I'm not playing!" Estelle yelled, leaping forward, sword at the ready. Josette sprang towards the man as well, opting for a punch. Standing between the two women, across from Selan, Neil cracked his neck on both sides. Nothing about his expression or body language indicated what was about to happen next. "Game over." Purple vortexes appeared in the center of the room, casting an ominous violet glow on each of the four faces. Josette was the first to reach Neil, who grabbed her arm and twisted it away into an awkward position, effectively stopping her momentum dead in its tracks. Estelle was second, and she thrust the sword forward, the sharp point disappearing through a vortex and emerging somewhere else. Neil seized her wrist with his other hand, holding it in place. "I wouldn't move if I were you." he said, turning his head toward Selan. Both Estelle and Josette turned their heads as well. Selan's head was tilted back, the blade just a hair away from her neck. Lethargy had settled into her eyes, but her lips trembled involuntarily, knowing that the slightest movement would end her life. Neil suddenly ripped the katana out of Estelle's hands, retracting it from the portal and twirled it around to jab her in the stomach with the hilt. With his other hand, he pulled down hard on Josette's arm, causing her to scream and fall to her knees. "Got that out of your systems now?" Neil spat, looking toward his truck. --- Los Paraisos: The Grande Diamond: Pool Room It was as if the lights suddenly came on, illuminating a room full of darkness. Lisette's eyes perked up familiarly as Mordie strode from the room. "Looks like we're done here, boys n' gal. It's been real charmin'. We should play again sometime!" And with that, she left the room. Lisette, still dripping pool water from her hair and clothes, looked around in confusion, struggling to reconcile what had happened with what she thought had happened. But one look at Dylan and the bros made everything come flooding back. "Everyone, I'm so sorry!" she cried, crawling over to Dylan. "Are you alright? I'm so sorry!"
