He cringed at Ebony's eagerness to make a move, directly in front of Emilia's face at it too. The smile that she put up seemed to have challenged her to see who was prettier. "Does that mean Ebony has been watching the both of us after all this time?" Lann had his attention to Emilia. Behind her closed lips Lann felt her annoyance. The eyes that wanted to penetrate straight into her heart when Ebony stared just as sharp as Emilia with a 'winning' smirk. "Not your business." It was cold and direct. Lann blushed when Emilia boldly took his hand and guiding him away from Ebony, clearly wanting to show her dominance but Ebony laughed at her as if she was the one who won. In truth, Lann believed that Emilia was the winner from the very beginning. However... Her decisions... When their hands met, her entire group moved away from Ebony and able to see Emilia taking Lann's hand personally to another area around the backyard where Ebony couldn't see. It was a bench underneath a graceful old oak tree. Her sudden halt made everybody stop, including Kat and Daniel whom had their eyes set on Emilia because her hands clutched on Lann. She cleared her throat again, Lann being able to tell that she was trying to come up with a reason behind her actions and the burning cheeks that she was experiencing. Everybody wanted a reason for her actions. The gulp of saliva could be heard. "I... I just don't like her." Was the excuse she could give to her friends but it raised a whole lot of questions. Lann's hand and Emilia's hand were still together. The two had their faces lit up like a christmas tree in the group. "Let's eat." She commanded them all and sat down with a loud thud before breaking away from Lann and everybody sort of looked at each other and just sat down on the bench and ate. Lann wasn't sure of what to do, since they were all eating their food and he didn't have anything and was standing about around them, casually looking around the area surrounding the oak tree. "So... Has that got anything to do with Lann arriving late?" Daniel asked. Kat glared at him for asking a question like that. Even Kat knew her boundaries when they were talking in public. Lann was zoning himself out from the frame of the group of friends. His hand was in his pockets and sat down on the grass looking out towards a different view of the hillside. Something about it looked just good. Mhm. There was no telling about that. Or, it was a sign that he was actually hungry and was shy to ask for any. He sat solitarily. "Lann, why are you sitting there by yourself?" Sirius wanted to still include Lann to the part of the group, even though at the moment none of them really wanted to say anything to one another. "Oh. I thought... Since i had nothing..." Lann stuttered but Sirius just waved his hand vigirously at him. "Bah don't worry about it. Just come." He sighed and joined to sit on the bench.
