Once more they descended upon the vessel, eyes searching the deck for the second Viking but concluding that something must have happened to the man (there wasn’t really anywhere that someone of that size could hide) Toothless proceeded to throw the last of them overboard before perching partially upon the figurehead of the small vessel. There wasn’t enough room for two dragons to fit comfortably upon deck. He turned his gaze upon Aurora tipping his ear flaps intuitively at her state- momentarily discarding his hostility as his rider leapt off his back. Hiccup hurried forward, prying the muzzle from Aurora’s mouth before hurrying around her. “Hold on. I’ll get you out of here.” He began working on the chains and despite the tools he brought he still strained against the steel, gaze darting constantly for trouble on the horizon. Finally he drew back with a tired huff as the last of the shackles fell away. “There…” Even free this still posed a problem though. One that Toothless had already realized and just wondered when it would be obvious to his human. Aurora couldn’t fly- in her state she looked pressed to move. Hiccup swallowed “You need to turn into a human. Then we can ride back to Berk on Toothless.”
