Magnus poured himself some more Sake as well for her before he saluted and took his 'shot' to wash away the bun before he spoke. 
"Maybe you already have but they aren't so forthcoming. In my time line, Azazel and Mystique still have kurt wagner, Eric Lencher and his wife Magda still have wanda maximoff. Wanda Maximoff and Kurt Wagner have me. Now, the original 'cure' made from the boy's power only suppressed the gene, not removing it. Thus when hundreds of mutants were gunned down in san francisco with the cure, evolution still finds a way. For about a decade the mutants were rounded up and neutralized if not simply crop dusted with an airborn variant. Those that resisted around the world became the third world war, the mutants lost and faced a curative genocide. Until they had kids. Millions of children were being born with primary mutations at birth and so a world wide mandate that every newborn in the world was given the cure as soon as possible, that made them immune to further cures when puberty hit and they developed their real powers."

He poured another sake and continued.

"The next great world war was on. Sadly we would loose again. Someone got the great idea to stop making bigger sentinels and instead went smaller. Nanotech sentinels programmed with gene manipulation distributed into all mediums of food and water. My parents knew the war was over now just by a waiting game so they met with someone who could open other timelines and sent me through. I arrived in this worlds x-mansion and did the school thing, but I wasn't to great on being an x-men, thankfully shield made me an avenger."

He poured his third sake and waited for questions.
