There's a general, giant fear of AI. There's still a chance of construction for 'em on places like Noveria, high-tech criminal groups/persons, or [i]very[/i] buried/shadow parts of a government gearing up for something nasty, but the last one's most likely based on ambition or fear/paranoia that overrides the massive fear/paranoia of AI. A lot of people genuinely never want to see an AI again (including people in the government), and it's partly why the quarians get shit on so hard.

I could see it as possible. But I figure they'd keep a tighter lid on it if it happened.

As for the post, if no one minds/cares, I'll just leave it as is, then. I don't have a preference in any way, so I'll go back to making an edit if players prefer an edit. 
The post could always be up for interpretation to whatever extent for everyone else.
Idea wasn't to change Cap'n's inherent character, though, just a typical Nova prank/something gone wrong with it.
