Another normal weekday, and it's the usual classes for the semester. As of now, May was with her classmates from her Archaeological Anthropology class, standing at a dusty 'archaeological site'. Most of the students were not interested, since the site only had small shards of rock or other materials that were probably used a long time ago. They weren't doing something as astounding as looking around ruins. May on the other hand, smiled as she took out her clipboard with a paper on it and she said to her friends, who were grouped with her, "Awright! Let's get to it then!" Her friend, Joan looked at her with a roll of her eyes and she commented "You're really excited about this assignment, May. It's kinda weird," May shrugged and she said "Hey, this is much more interesting than working out of the textbook, don't you agree? Besides, we're close to where the rumored ruins that the archaeologists are looking for! Maybe we'll stumble on it ourselves!" Joan answered "Or we may not," Erika groaned "Let's just get this over with," After thirty minutes of examining the artifacts and ecofacts, May and her friends had finished the worksheet, and they decided to explore the area. As May walked however, she soon stepped on a weak spot on the cracked and dry ground, and her foot fell through. She looked down in shock asking "Huh?" before the ground beneath her gave way and she fell, screaming. She landed on her feet in the darkness beneath her ground. She heard Joan call for her in concern from above, "May!!! Are you ok?!" May looked up towards the light, and she called "I'm fine! Just go get the professor, or a rope, and get me out of here!" Erika answered "Alright! I'll go get the professor, just stay there!" May heard Erika's footsteps leave the hole, as she got out her phone and turned on the flashlight app. She looked around and as she did she heard Joan ask in concern "Can you see anything?" May answered, her curiosity piqued, "Yeah! There's a path ahead. I'm gonna go check it out," Joan knew that there was no stopping May and she said "Fine. Just be safe, May, and come back soon!" After May reassured Joan that she would be fine, she set off down the path, with her phone giving off light. She looked at the walls around her as she did, and she noticed that the further she walked down the path, the walls became more and more refined instead of cave like, like they were earlier when she felt down the hole. She soon found herself in a large circular chamber, the walls were completely sculpted and carved now to look like the inside of a temple. She noticed that in the center of the room, was a dusty container. She walked up to the container in curiosity, and dusted it with her hand. She gasped at what she saw: The container was a glass coffin, and inside it was a boy about her age, if not a little older. She mumbled to herself in awe as she looked at, what she thought was a dead body, and she commented "Woah…and they said the Ancient Egyptians did a great job of preserving their dead…"
