[/quote] True could be a Chinese knock off, mangled home made ammo Just encase anyone would like to know (I doubt you care) but the reason the AK is so reliable is because of how crappily made it was. At the time the US had special machines which precession cut the metals to make the parts whilst the Russians had pretty crappy man powered machines and general welding. What this caused was that the AK would RATTLE whilst it was fired. Which most of the time you don't want. Despite this because of the large gaps in the parts of the weapon this led to it becoming one of the most reliable firearms ever created.
