Dark Souls is a game that test the patience and dedication of individuals towards a cause on multiple levels; both achieving success and understanding the world it's set within. You can't gain either without putting in effort, which the players in the Reddit (I'm assuming it's reddit) post Awson showed us don't necessarily lack. Whereas most informed people knew not to go that way from the get go, these guys continued to try regardless. That's dedication. Which is the point of Dark Souls. I'd say there's absolutely nothing wrong with what these people have attempted, and I quite honestly don't blame them. Dark Souls is not a straightforward game in terms of gameplay, plot, direction, or otherwise. Kill Bones comment on them being talentless is well, pretty fucking mean and wrong, really. The game is neither flawed nor are the players dumb; they're just misguided and decided not to look up a guide. It doesn't take talent to have a sudden revelation that the bridge is the right way to go from the start. That's luck. Any one of us could have gone the graveyard route on our first try. Also talentless shitheads wouldn't have the capacity to get far enough to obtain pursuers. The people you're complaining about are skilled players who decided to use an imbalanced feature of the game. The fact that you're complaining about dark mag is also a clue into your own talent... ... Basically you're only complaining about it because you fucking suck at dealing with it.
