My thought process was literally

And basically went with workers' rights as the cause of a strike. If anybody wants to suggest a better cause or a better plot altogether, I'm quite happy to go with that. Apart from Germany* (which is [u]mine[/u] :P), I really don't mind what Europe looks like so long as it's not in direct contravention of Geography or common sense. :P

* and also possibly the Netherlands. Apparently when I study a language I tend to get quite possessive of it and I'm learning Dutch as well...
