Sawn-off's are even less practical than a regular shotgun in any realistic combat use. We're not in the UK, we're in the post-apocalypse.Versatility, you have down.As far as a silent shotgun, you may as well use one of these as well: It's all personal preference at the end of the day. I shotguns, especially in post-apocalyptic fiction/games, don't get me wrong on that. I'd just take a bow before I'd take a .
Shotgun spread is mostly adjusted by the choke a, sawn off has pretty much the same spread as a full sized give or take a few inches. The recoil is what breaks your wrist XD Prices wouldn't be too much. Shotgun is probably the easiest gun to make. No fancy recoil springs, magazines or that many moving parts. People make shotguns in there homes nowadays out of pipe, springs and nails. Its a lot easier to train to hit a bulls eye with a shotgun and the wound would be more savage The reason is that bullets rip and tear threw flesh whilst bows plug up the hole they just made, sure they are a pain to take out but people can survive these wounds easier then shotgun blasts. I LOVE bows I shoot them quite regularly I just like debating points XD They both have there purposes but I would use a shotgun every time. I don't mind you wanting to take the bow but until u convince me that you using it would be better then using a shotgun I wont understand.
