Of course. I'm just getting at it from all angles. I understand that, on average, some creatures are not as good at fighting as others, but exceptions do exist. 
I just don't want any "I win because my creature is stronger" malarky. You can be outdone by weake creatures.

 I should also warn any slavers out there that it is harder to take someone alive. You need to control your attacks and fight carefully, as you don't want either creature to die.
