For the umpteenth time, we're trusting that players will make fair, reasonable draws. I'd say once every two or three duels, you can have that perfect "heart of the cards" moment where you draw precisely what you need to turn things around (let's keep it interesting, y'know?) but for the most part try not to intentionally give yourself especially powerful hands. For instance, I can't have Alex start with a powerful combo involving Bountrs Grim, Kenshin, and Bushin. It's a nice combo, but a bit much to start the duel off. EDIT: Or an RNG if you don't trust yourself as much as I do, that works too.
