I did see that there was another (and possibly more) that applied for the position of pride, but as stated the roles were left open and I didn't see them closed. That said, I will be applying for pride as well. The theme and presence of the cardinal sins are normally present in many of my characters and/or roleplays. It's something I enjoy, and I enthusiastically am taking the jump to adhere to this. I also have a skype account for anyone interested: omniscended (Super Booski) and I'm more than willing if not utterly eager to take part of a collaboration post through titanpad. That said, I'll begin.

"All things in this world, no matter how complex, can be summed up in a single sentence. As proud as any other New Yorker about their heritage, stories from Vinny's youth were abundant with phrases like "Great gran'pa Ama was one of teh first to see Ellis Isle" and of course many references to the harsh times of that era. Alongside their heritage was a strong sense of familial bonds. Vinny and his brother, Alonzo, were inseparable, and that often came to their advantage once it was time for them to take their place on the streets. Vinny and Alonzo started young with minor thefts, but their family tended to quickly escalate to murder and drug trafficking. Everything escalated quickly actually; these were the fast-paced streets of the Big Apple, and if you didn't keep up, you died. The Prencetti family was truly a small gang, but it was part of a bigger syndicate that rumored to exist as far back as prohibition with Al Capone. That said, the Prencettis were often called upon for seemingly random requests, and expected to abide by them. This never was a problem; no Prencetti was afraid to gun down anyone. Alonzo, being the older brother, wasn't above beating someone into the ground, if not just plain beating them to death. Vinny, younger, was often forced by circumstance simply to gun down anyone he needed, as he was smaller and less aggressive than his brother. This ultimately resulted in Vinny having a distaste for actually using his fists, and a notable proficiency with handguns. Their life was undoubtedly lavish for some time. Alonzo, despite already fathering a kid with another on the way, lived up his life with Vinny; they partied hard, indulging in women, drugs and at times crime sprees for no real reason. They were known cop killers, meaning that few were willing to even attempt to stop them. That was, until, the kickstart of the larger gang wars within NYC. The Prencettis had a small empire that had lasted nearly a century in NYC - at least to their locality - and it was dissolved in a few weeks. There was no asking, "Who done it?" either as it was not just one - it was the fault of several gangs fighting over the territory. In resistance, Alonzo was shot down, forcing Vinny to watch as he could do nothing but hide from the larger gangs during their outbreak. He had no gun, no way to even fight back and no way to exact vengeance. Alonzo told Vinny not to stop. It wasn't a dramatic scene from a movie, but it was there. They had nothing but their name, and in this case Vinny had taken up the name "little Prince" as he was treated like royalty due to being the youngest of his generation. Alonzo bled out, telling Vinny that it was better they died as Prencetti than forfeit to strange, alien gangs that had no claim to their streets. It was that thought that ignited the new mentality for Vinny. It was that thought that gave birth to he who would be Prence. His brother and his family died as Prencetti's, and even though a few of them were still around, the point stood that there was no life left as a Prencetti. There was no pride in death. So, Vinny decided not to die. Like a phoenix, Vinny was reborn as Prence - merging his surname with his last nickname. He went through all the initiation rites of the gang that took over, and soon enough shot through it. Prence was cold, callous, vindictive and looked out for no one but himself. He made a name for himself not only by gunning down those who stood in his way, but by creating elaborate sub-gangs to manipulate any one target he couldn't take out with brute force. Lulled into false senses of security, any target to Prence was easily eliminated, and that put Prence at the top rings of a gang called Tri Righ. Tri Righ was an Irish gang of NYC whose racism created a glass ceiling for Prence, keeping him right where he was in power due to his Italian descent. Prence, however, was absolutely fine with where he was. For almost a year, Prence partied on his glass ceiling, watching all those below him do his work while he did little more than indulge in drugs, sex and sin, most of all calling himself the Prince of Tri Righ. He took full credit for the creation of drug cartels and extortion rings that were bringing in several million a year to his gang, and had truly been doing very little to expand it. It was this attitude that was the bane of Prence as the true 'Kings' of Tri Righ found it time to eliminate Prence as a middle man. Prence, in a very convincing effort, was placed into what he thought would be a large expansion to his drug cartel, although the real motif for this was to have him killed off during a large gang war that was about to outbreak. It was this gang war that left Prence exposed to the black gas that killed almost all of his close men, and left Prence considered dead. Prence lost his life as the Prince of Tri Righ that day, as they intended for him to be 'cut loose' from the event, but they had no clue what monsters would be created. . .
Personality.
Prence is an excessively arrogant individual that, due to his life events, internalizes his own pride until the moment he can safely seize it. Prence lives for that moment. That single moment when he can stretch out his hand and definitely claim victory over all others, even if there is not a single person whom cares - although at times Prence is just vindictive enough to make them. Although Prence suppresses it, he is still proud of his heritage and his roots in NYC; at times when questioned, he claims that his blood has been spilled on the streets for decades, and that he is part of them. The other side to Prence is his manipulative side. As stated, he waits for his time to seize victory and claim it over everyone. For that purpose, he often takes whatever role he needs to, doing whatever possible to reach that end result. Whether it is a friend or nor, Prence will find a way to secure superiority, whether he deserves so or not.
Abilities:
Prence is a talented manipulator skilled in rhetoric and verbose. In his youth, he showed proficiency with guitar, painting and oddly enough harmonica. He is excessively skilled in all three, and will debut such skills if the opportunity arises. Most of all, Prence is highly accurate with handguns of essentially all sorts - a skill picked up when he actually had to do his own dirty work.
Power.
Prence can manipulate kinetic energy for all sorts of purposes in all sorts of ways. The general rule is that the closer something is to Prence, the easier it is for him to manipulate. His most common use of this ability is the creation of a repulsar field that simple absorbs the kinetic energy off of any fast moving or heavy object, then adds it back to said object in the opposite direction. This field is active and automatic, but not applicable to slower moving objects. Prence also cannot 'sense' objects within it unless they are repulsed, thus most of his abilities either require spatial awareness, line of sight or touch. Prence can generate and amplify the kinetic force of objects to literally melt them or turn them into delayed explosives. He can also absorb the hit of any concussive force, even down to a punch. Prence uses his abilities mostly to keep himself from harm as the reality is he does not have the aggression to truly use the destructive forces of his abilities.
How you joined the sinners.
Prence originally intended on restarting a small gang, after learning of his powers, then attempting to systematically bring down Tri Righ. It was not until the attractive young "Sloth" intervened, promising him more if he were to use his talents and powers for her cause that he joined the sinners as Pride, whose true goal is to bring down Tri Righ for the sake of vengeance. Prence is not acting out of his pride in this case, but attempting to amend his 'bruised' pride from essentially being kicked out.
Personal Arc:
This is obvious and fairly effective. Prence wants to bring down Tri Righ, so his personal arc would be doing so. His moment of seizing power. His moment of not only restoring his pride, but restoring pride to the Prencetti's who were slaughtered by all those around him. Prence could seize power in a single moment, become the figure head and possibly even show the full potential of his powers if need be as this would be one of the few situations passionate enough for him to become aggressive. Such could also lead to progressing the Sinners as a whole by giving them large Gang Influence.
