How unfortunate. That character was so eloquently put together as well. Strong theme, good history, several background ties. I would suggest reading him and looking for a decent sub-plot.

Edit: Although full, why not have an ally? Maybe not a cardinal sin, but Vengeance could be a great addition. I could easily convert Prence to such.
