Mithias approached the cave. Yes... this was it. The hideout was so obvious once you knew where the cave was. The auras of the gathered immortals were fairly easy to sense from this close. The SOLDIER vampire checked his control panel and frowned. Jet #709 was going to be back a little sooner than he preferred. The roar of the flying warmachine could be heard now, getting louder and more obvious. Mithias turned his head sharply as he sensed a strong presence appear at the cave entrance. He had been seen, or heard, as he knew he would be. The jet was settling into a position above the area when the vampire's eye caught the slight movement of a small object traveling through the air directly at him. He recognized a flash-bomb and dodged to the side with a roll. The blast was briefly deafening. Any human would have been knocked unconscious, but Mithias was far from human. Plant and dirt were flung through the air from the explosion as he rolled up and drew his two swords. The anticipated follow-up attack didn't come, and instead, he saw the destruction of his 6 million dollar piece of equipment with a tree. Without a pilot, the empty machine wasn't capable to dodging or firing back. It was a flying duck. The raven-haired vampire growled softly as the thing crashed down with a much larger explosion. This wasn't good. Mithias faced the rebel, Magnus, keeping focused on him while the two were encircled by other, weaker vampires. The elder vampire looked fairly well, aside from a little dirt... and blood. In his black SOLDIER uniform, weapons drawn, Mithias stood casually, ready for anything the oldblood or his followers might try. The situation wasn't what he had planned and circumstances were not in his favor, but no son of Gabriel was a coward, or a fool. Mithias was going to have to make this work. "Magnus." He called out. "I am special agent Varomere of SOLDIER, law enforcement, and regulator of vampirekind. You are under arrest for flagrant violation of the Blood Contract, leading a rebellion, wanton destruction of Kilo Point, and murder of humankind on numerous counts." Mithias glared at him, hateful of the other vampire's heartless crimes. "Surrender peacefully, or I will be compelled to use deadly force to bring you down."
