You're not making it sound boring! It actually does sound like it would be a really interesting book, not the type of thing that I usually read but I might have to give it a try anyways. :)

Oh... yeah. Well, you see, my parents are kinda over protective and I don't really "go out" a lot with my friends, we mostly just go to each others houses and be lazy, so when I actually go somewhere my parents want to know exactly what I'm doing every single minute. 

So the other day my best friend, a rando dude that she's friends with, and myself all went out to see The Lego Movie together (oh my god, I thought it was going to suck but it was actually really good. If you haven't already seen it, you should XD). My parents were hounding me all night to make sure I texted them with everyplace that we went and all of this stuff but, this is where it gets awkward, my friends wanted to park somewhere and smoke. If my parents had known that I went to a park and watched my friends do drugs they would have flipped their shit, but they ended up finding out anyways and now they don't want me going anywhere. So yeah, they are kinda right but I didn't do anything so it's not even that bad.
