Ren was curled into a ball in the furthest corner of the room, sobbing. He was never one to contain emotion, especially now. Ren tried to speak his vote, but he choked on his voice and fell silent once again. Though he had recently joined the guild, death was still upsetting and he couldn't hold in the sorrow. He wasn't wearing any bracelets or even a hat, and hoped he melted into the walls around him in his black suit. No, Ren did not want to be seen crying when everyone else was doing such a good job of not expressing their sadness. He would just feel more weak then he does now. Ren could only think of the tears he was shedding, and how to stop them so he could at least stand up and share his vote. Ren removed his glasses and wiped the tears out of his eyes, and shakily stood up, preparing to speak. Ren managed to mutter the words "Lexus", though barely audible. Ren was shaking horribly, but kept his posture. It was important to stay strong to those around him, or else everyone would begin to cry with him.
Eliz dabbed her eyes with a silk handkerchief, still trying to look pretty while sobbing her eyes out. She stood beside her friend, Ren and shared her grief with him. "Such a travesty." She murmured, patting the boy's head. "We all die eventually, 'tis the way the world goes." Eliz sighed, "Everyone will die, and what we fight for will end up being for nothing, the way of the world is a confusing thing." She ran her fingers through her silver hair and closed her eyes, trying to cease the whimpering sobs. After a few quiet moments, she managed to calm herself down, "And now we all look like bickering fools. Look at this, plain as day." She had no patience for other people, other than Ren of course, after all they were close 'pals' as some people said. Everyone looked so... strange what with their get up and what not, but that didn't matter now, what mattered most was her friend and his attempt to lighten up.
