At the age of ten, Alexi went out to start her journey. She didn't have any pokemon at the time, but she had an empty ball, ready to be used. Alexi stumbled upon a Growlith, of course she was excited about this discovery. She threw the pokeball but the Growlith evaded and it proceeded to attack her. As Alexi took a claw to the arm, she fell, becoming vulnerable. At this moment, a nearby Poochyena came to her rescue, scaring off the Growlith. The two became great friends, and they've been traveling with each other ever since.
