Ilya turned around and saw the teenagers entering the house behind him. The inside was rough and unadorned, with basic furniture and worn wood floors. The main room had a small dinner table, a desk and and some bookshelves, along with his icon corner that was the only hint of decoration. It was a basic lifestyle, but it felt almost luxurious to Ilya who had spent most of his adult life in the Russian army. "Feel free to look around, I've got to gather up the papers I have to give you all". He went over to his desk and sorted through his papers, picking out the files he had kept for each of the children he had sworn to protect. He had written a basic summary of the tales connected to their life and notes about the fairy tale realm before and after the villains took over. Ilya also had a few unopened letters for each child, written by parents or others, and he made sure to include those in the packets he gathered. "Sorry if it took a long time. I have got some things you should read, some written by me, and some from the old world. Let me know if you have questions, or if you want to see the other realm for yourselves when you are done reading." He handed the packet to each of them, and waited for them to read it. His conversational english was good, but he had never really gotten a chance to try his written skills, and was worried that it might be hard to understand. He sat down at the table while he waited for them to finish reading.
