Bear with me here, this idea has probably been done to death, but I think it'd be nice. 

[hider=The Game] The game is simple. You have three lives. Pain is cumulative, meaning that eventually it will go away, but first-aid is ineffective, to say the least. If your vitality percentage goes below 0, (Yes, you are allowed to sit at 0.) then a life is lost. Once all three lives have been lost, you are out of the game - and out of the world. [/hider]

[hider=How The Game Came to Be] People were kidnapped. People who weren't like the average Tom or Mary. These were expert fighters (they don't have to actually be people who have fought in the past, mind you!) who were willing to take more than their fair share of hits, and deal the same amount on the inverse. [/hider]

Now, I'm trying to go for a lot of different styles here. It's a real world game - with a style similar to the 'stamina' mode in Smash Bros. The RP itself isn't just going to be plain fighting - we'll see a lot of diplomats on the other side of the game fighting to get the contestants out, and the game wiped from the public eye, as well as alliances forming, hell, maybe even a bit of romance, if that's your cup of tea.

[hider=A General Plot-line/trailer thing?] Alliances will be formed. Friend and foe alike will be slain. There's no telling who's got your back and who's about to stab it. The bloodshed will rage - until the greater of all evils appears. Lives will be lost. Friendships will be forged - and adversity will give way to strength. [/hider]

[hider=Known Facts about this RP for sure] There IS an audience. The game itself is broadcasted live to millions of people - you will have the public on your side. There will be announcements and [typed out] trailers for your characters, so be sure to come up with those as you introduce your character to the roleplay! (ie: Barry edits himself in!) Weapon choice is limited to your imagination, so long as there aren't any I-HIT-YOU-WITH-THIS-ONCE-AND-U-DED or THE-CHOSEN-ONE weapons! [/hider]

[hider=The (HOPEFUL) Style of this RP!] This is an Episodic RP, meaning that it will be styled in a TV show. We'll have cuts to an audience cheering for an amazing win for their favorite team, and the like. If you have a soundtrack that you want to share with the group, don't be shy! Intro credits and outro credits, the whole 9 yards. [/hider]

This'll probably be a free to mid-casual RP, but don't be afraid to come and try it out. We'll be accepting as long as the story arc goes! (Yes, there WILL be an ending.)
