I'd say just write up the CS and see what response you get mate, it's not like they take ages. Even when I get distracted or a little too into it the shit usually only takes about an hour. I'd be careful though, really powerful characters can be very hard to keep interesting and the sociopath bad-ass is already a kind of tired concept for a lot of people, you'll have to work extra hard to make him interesting and likable despite that.
