The golden twin, Jemma felt a warm feeling inside knowing that somewhere deep down her brother did not truly hate her. She enjoyed more than anything the time that they spent together, especially these specific nights where she could almost completely be herself around him. The princess held back a small laugh as Jasper hit the target on it’s outer rings instead of a bull’s-eye. He asked how she did it and she took her own bow and raised it in front of her as a rebuttal. “Okay, watch me again, Jasper” Slowly she notched an arrow and pulled back the bowstring. “You want to slightly over compensate for such things as distance, wind resistance, and the overall strength you use to fire your weapon” To show him what she meant she closed her left eye and looked down the arrow to it’s point, adjusting accordingly. “From this far back you want to aim a little bit higher than normal, so if you think it’ll hit the center of the target from right here,” she moved her arm down slightly, “than you want to aim it just a little ways higher, accounting for the distance, you’re already hitting the target a bit high so try lowering your aim just a little. Also, since there is a slight breeze going East then you want to point your arrow slightly to the West but just the slightest bit.” With a small smirk Jemma finished her list of tips, “Lastly, you must think on how far back you pull your string, pull it back too far and you may over shoot and miss the target altogether, if you don’t pull it back enough than it will most likely hit the ground before the target” Finally, Jemma inhaled deeply and released her arrow; it went whizzing through the air and hit the target dead in the center. She exhaled as she brought her bow down and looked at Jasper with a smile. “Just like that Jasper. I know you can do it if you keep trying. It took me years to get to where I am in archery. Similar to how it takes years of practice to become as good as you are in the duel arena”
