Kido looked over to see that they were, indeed, getting closer to the lake. Had she just sounded nervous? He supposed it made sense after what happened earlier that day. He took her hand and smiled. "Don't worry, I don't think we'll be going back in. We'll keep some distance between it and us, okay?"
