Ok. The "[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tungston]Tungston[/url]" thing bothers me, but for RP purposes, I'm ok going with it. However, fyi, Tungston is typically super brittle and shatters, but it has a very high heat tolerance before it melts. 

Titanium, on the other hand, is very light and strong as hell when alloyed. 

I personally want to go with titanium-based swords. I don't see any reason Mith's swords would have to tolerate extreme heat.
