Kali stood on her feet more stably than she had expected. After all, not of her muscular tissues was damaged, but the surface of her skin still tingled with a dull, burning sensation. She made a mental note not to trip and fall. That would be quite painful for the rest of her body. "I'm fine too," Kali added with a smile in Althea's direction, trying to dispel some of her apparent guilt. "C'mon, let's grab something to eat." She walked slowly but steadily toward the door. Again, this was to show her friends that she could be independent and strong. She didn't need their constant supervision. She continued down the stone corridor until she arrived at the open courtyard where their battle had taken place what seemed like ages ago. The stone was charred in a few places, and some previous stone structures had been destroyed or ruined. Thankfully, however, most of the area was still intact. Aang and friends were sitting around a fire which presumedly heated a pot of food. Kali came over to them and smiled. "Kali, are you okay?" Katara said with surprise upon seeing her. "Yeah, yeah, don't worry about me," she answered. She looked down nervously at the stone floor beneath her and wondered if it would be painful to sit down cross-legged. Deciding not to test that hypothesis, she walked over to the fountain that was damaged but still working and sat down at its edge. "What about Zac and Althea?" "They both seem to be okay," she replied, dipping her hand into the cool, soothing water. "They're on their way here right now."
