Daisuke wondered why the scary woman seemed to focus her attention solely on one of the boys. He thought back to his lessons in elementary school, and how much they had emphasized the phrase, "I need an adult!" when it came to capitalizing stranger danger. He wondered if this was one of those situations... "Ooh!" Daisuke beamed as he saw the scary woman pull out what looked to be a handgun. While he was pretending to have two of them in his hands, this woman actually had a physical toy of a gun! It looks so real, too! Cool! He began to imitate the woman as she pointed it towards the boy, even going so far as to copying what she was saying. "Let's see if I can get some passion out of you," he repeated darkly, his hand recoiling backwards. That was when the familiar sound of a real gun firing blared through his ear and sent a shock down his spine, causing him to nearly cower low to protect himself. But there was no blood or any sound of pain as the bullet struck the boy directly through the forehead. Instead, the boy laid there almost lifeless for a few moments before his body revitalized, springing from the ground as an orange flame emerged from where the bullet had made its entrance. Daisuke blinked as the boy's clothes suddenly dissipated save for his boxers, and watched him run off into the distance. "What-" he said in awe as the other kids prepared to give chase, a grin spreading across his face. He kicked up some dust and followed suit, managing to pass by a few of the others that followed along but trailing behind Cyril and the other one. "Haha! This is fun!" Though, by the time they reached the beach, the entire front of Daisuke's body landed directly into the sand as he found himself completely out of breath. He wasn't much of an athlete if at all, and keeping up with the entire group throughout the run was more running than he had ever done, he felt. He coughed and wheezed, raising his head out of the sand and choking on some sand. He groaned, pouting, "Gee, that was tiring! I wish I could run around naked, I wouldn't be sweating so much!" --- Watching all of the Guardian candidates run around the town before ending up at the beach managed to bring an amused laugh from Vector's mouth. He folded his arms as he stood atop of a taller building, his foot against the raised edge of the roof that overlooked the coastline. These kids were, at most, a curious bunch, but their worth of becoming the next generation Vongola Guardians was the concern. He and Decimo had disagreed with one another on two selections, and there was a growing debate over whether or not Lambo would retain his position as the Vongola Guardian of Lightning, or Daisuke Honda would inherit the position. "Hmph," Vector clicked his tongue, leveling his feet together with a concerned look on his face. He folded his arms together, sighing. "I guess it's the only way," he said, turning back and walking off as he dug into pocket for his phone.
