Kido struggled a bit when Ivy sped up, but somehow managed to keep going. He understood that Ivy didn't want to be near the water any longer than she had to, and he wanted to help her get a comfortable distance between them and the lake. After nearly tripping a few times, he managed to get back into the same running rhythm as her and could tell that they were moving quite a bit faster now. He knew it would only last for so long, since he wasn't the best in sports, but he'd deal with that later.
