The desire to kill? He felt that too, but there was a reason. Though, he only had just thought of becoming stronger because of Abaddon. He made Lass realize that he was still and far too weak. Revenge is could become a reason for him to kill as well, but he already took revenge of a person that made him suffer. For the other two that caused his suffering, he is quite close on giving up on that. 

"Then... Would you teach me?" he asked Abaddon. Could he finally accept him as an apprentice? Lass had only hoped so.
