Name: Wayne Travers Age: 36 Nationality: Canadian Military Branch: NATO Specialized Personnel Task Force Genetic Alterations: Wayne is anthro, in the variety of a lion-cougar mix. He was born a regular human being, however. Psychological Evaluation: Can be smart and loyal, but also tends to be rude, sarcastic, immature, impulsive, prone to violence, and insensitive if not outright prejudiced towards different ethnic and religious groups. Overall, very unpredictable, if not borderline psychotic. Specialization: Assault and support Weapons/Equipment: Uses a C1A1 SLR, 7.62x51mm NATO. Wayne has had opportunities to use more modern weapons, but has refused them. Also has a combat knife and binoculars for use. Wayne's coming in to Aschenblume with a heavy black suit of armor and a large rucksack with enough foodwater, and ammo to last for 3 days. Good protection and well-supplied, but it's all very cumbersome. Appearance: Short dark-brown hair/fur on the head, eyebrows, and tip of the tail, sand-brown fur from the mouth down to the front of the torso and abdomen, and tan-brown fur everywhere else. Wayne's tail is more like that of a cougar's than a lion's. He's also a bit unclean because he doesn't regularly bathe. Bio: Wayne was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, the 2nd child of Thomas and Lois Travers. His older sister is Diana, and his younger brother is Kent. Wayne displayed a gift for learning quickly in his first years of life, and everyone thought he was going to do amazing in school. They were wrong. Wayne started showing symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome in preschool, and it was clear that he was a social outcast by the first few months of Grade 1. He made no friends as a child, and when the teasing by other kids turned into physical harrassment by Grade 4, Wayne ended up developing a cpacity for being violent. When kids pushed him into walls, he would push them even harder. When kids threw rocks at him, he would throw the rocks back and chase them. Eventually, kids began to fear him, and the ones stupid enough to continue picking on Wayne were only physically assaulted even worse as the years went by. The teachers also grew a deep contempt for Wayne. Unfortunately, Wayne would also be violent towards the teachers. When Wayne was in trouble, many chairs would be thrown, and many classrooms and offices would become disaster areas. It all culminated in Grade 7, when Wayne was finally pushed too far and cut off a kid's head with a hacksaw. Wayne was then taken in by the police, and never saw his family again. At the age of 20, Wayne was presented with the choice of joining the Canadian military and becoming anthro, or spending the rest of his life institutionalized. Wayne chose the military and anthropomorphization. The disciplined environment of the military seemed to make things right for Wayne, and he eventually served as an SPTF commando across all corners of the globe, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. That is, until he was betrayed by his first and best friend. Mark Gilbert, a born anthro red fox, and an American soldier that served alongside Wayne in various international operations. It turns out that Mark was an agent for an ex-Soviet communist terrorist organization known as YAD. While on a mission in Yemen, Mark had to prove his loyalty to YAD and communism by killing Wayne. At point blank range, Wayne took a shot in the head, and was on the verge of death when he was rescued. Luckily, he survived. Unfortunately, he suffered moderate damage to the front of his brain, and as a result relapsed into psychosis. Wayne was discharged, and spent the next 7 years living in a non-descript trailer park in Las Vegas, Nevada, and took up a meth addiction. In wake of recent events in the town of Aschenblume in Germany, Wayne was recently drafted back into SPTF service, hoping for someone that is both experienced and expendable. He's been clean and retrained for a few months now, but he's still suffering from meth withdrawal, and needs to be monitored for mental instability.
