I disagree, Manchester has had a lot more musicians come from it that have equal to or more talent than those you have named. For example, 10cc, the 1975, The Smiths(and Morrissey seperately), The Stone Roses, Oasis, The Bee Gees, The Buzzcocks, Elbow, Joy Division and Slaughter and the Dogs to name a few.
