"I don't need to do any more to defeat you," the creature offered in rebuttal. It needed only a single good strike to get its way, that much was made evident early on. It was easier said than done of course, Viral was awfully quick and agile in his Enki. If it could just pin down the Beastman and keep him from running about then the speed wouldn't be an issue. To that end the creature tried to ensnare the alien in its grip, using both massive hands to cut off routes of escape. Something was going to be cut, but it wasn't going to be Viral's way out. In a manner much too quick to react to the alien began to spin around, his blades extended out to his sides. By the time the creature realized what was going on his hands had each been sliced, making him retract them quickly and hold them up in the air in safety. Two or three gashes were on each palm now, a thick purple ooze slipping out from the injuries. There was no time to cry over its injuries, Viral was far from finished. Watching as the Beastman then sprung up into the air the creature raised its arms to block the attack, shielding its injured chest with its plated forearms. The swords clattered against the stone, not quite slicing through but steadily whittling away at it. Lifting its arms the creature deflected Viral away, yet not before catching a sword to its face, getting a nice big cut along its right cheek. Growling angrily it reached up at the now airborne Viral, trying to swat him to the ground with one good strong smack. "It can't happen if you don't let it though, right?" Takeshi replied, smiling hopefully. "You just got to do your best to keep control." That seemed a pretty common problem with their group as a whole. T'charrl and Viral with their powers, Shu as well, himself with his anger. Everyone had something that could run away from them, something that was a sort of Achilles heel. An awful lot to overcome, and with no one really around to help them they were pretty much on their own too. Trying not to be too disheartened by the fact however Takeshi made his way over to the den, calling for his brother and the aliens to come out. No reason to keep hiding if the creatures were gone, and perhaps this way they could get some idea on this god of theirs too. Yumi and Viral should be en route to fight the thing right now, so anything they could learn was going to be quite handy. Smiling at Shu as he emerged the older boy moved to the side, watching as the father came out after Shu, followed by his wife and their son. It was a job well done all in all, they had protected the kid and driven off the creatures. Hopefully for good too, he'd hate to think of what may happen if they should come back when none of them were around to help. Takeshi shook his head at what T'charrl had to say, not quite buying into it. Sure he had managed to get a few good pokes in, but he was hardly efficient. What had he really managed to injure anyways, some wild animal? A lot of good that was going to do him in a real battle. All he'd done is stabbed the creature, not exactly an intricate display of swordsmanship. Not wanting to mull over his own shortcomings the Saiyan took one last look around the area, a little wary for the moment still now that they had the child out in the open. It all looked clear though, so they should be okay. "We think they're gone, for now at least. One of them is dead, and the other one is pretty close to that, so they shouldn't bother you anymore." "Safe... Real safe? Sure?" the father asked, taking his turn to look around the area. Lifting his head up he gave the air a careful sniffing, just to be sure. There was the faint stench of one of the Dural, but it was fading gradually, almost like it was vanishing. He could even tell one had retreated and in which direction, that and it was far away now. So they were truly safe, and more importantly Tesuga was truly safe. Acknowledging this with a smile he nodded his head, looking over at T'charrl and Takeshi and bowing his head. "Thanks, thanks many. Safe son, live still, best reward. Thank enough, give something, I swear."
