Dark levitates and gives his friend a salute as he soars towards the Black Mage guild for his final class of the day. On the way there he can't help but think if everything he did really meant anything, he swore his life to becoming one of the greatest Guardians the Slums has seen but he feels as if whatever he does only ends up as minimum effort. Doing his own training like Snake and the others did before him and they show great skills in controlling their power and have a unique style as well, but him, he just feels he can't keep up at all. Maybe that's why they haven't truly consider him as a full pledge Guardian yet, why he takes the role as a test dummy, decoy, and doing recon before everyone else shows up. Do they really consider him that weak, but what of Elder Mortar, does he feel the same way as well? Is this why he wanted Dark to seek out Balthazar's aid in becoming stronger or is he just looking out for him like he did when Dark was younger? Rattled with his thoughts he makes it to giant doors of the Black Mage Guild, he pushes them open and greets his professor with respect and sits down with the other students as they begin the lecture of the day.
