Once the last clone was destroyed, including the two clones who had jumped over him while the others had occupied him, each hit by a quickly thrown shuriken, he quickly glanced around. He retreated a bit closer to the tree to keep a better look at the situation while being better able to protect the tree. He had slightly underestimated the genin.
