Caroline didn't move for a few minutes, trying to figure out what she should do. It didn't seem like the Princess would tell anyone, but it sounded like she would hold it over her head. She closed her eyes, trying to quell the sudden headache she had. "That went better than I expected." said Spark, appearing over her head, "Be glad it wasn't that Samarkand girl. If it was, blackmail would be the least of your worries." Suddenly something clicked in her mind. She had heard the name Samarkand before, during one of her grandfather's stories. Samarkand was the name of a man he had fought in the war. Closing her eyes tighter, Caroline groaned. "Can I just start the day over? This is pretty much an unqualified disaster." a few minutes later, Caroline stood up, heading back towards her room and getting changed again, since there was soot and soil on her outfit. Making her way to the central tower in her light blue dress, Caroline did her best not to attract any more attention. Spark was gone now, taking his promised break wherever it was he disappeared to.
