Lucy groaned, but for a different reason all together than Jurano. Now people were whispering things about their background and how they grew up together.

"So they're best friends?"

"That's so cute! Best friends going out with each other!"

"He said something about an orphanage. . .did something happen to their parents?"

"I bet the Ultimatum had something to do with it."

Lucy [i]wished[/i] the Ultimatum would swoop down and rain fire on these mindless idiots. If anything, Jurano's little stunt only made things worse! She looked at the set of headphones he had given her. They were a dark crimson color. Were these supposed to match her hair? And who listened to this kind of music anyway? Holding in a large sigh, Lucy placed the headphones in her backpack before deciding to pay attention to the lesson of the day.

It didn't take long for lunch to roll around, and Lucy was grateful to get a break. It would be nice to go over strategies with Jurano. Deciding to do just that, she stalked over to the boy's desk and clasped a hand on his shoulder. "We're going to discuss more important matters now," she said dryly. "Let's go." As she headed over down to the library of all places, the sound of rumors continued to chase her.

"Where are they going?"

"I bet Jurano's gonna get to second base!"

"You idiot, he still has to get to first!"

Lucy so desperately wanted to set that class on fire.
