Abby turned and gave the Spanish teen sitting on the beach beside her a inquisitive look. Then, she bent down and tapped the top of his head a few times. "There, you still think you're dreaming?" She asked cheerfully. She was about to continue when Naoto's crash landing interrupted him. Abby jumped in surprise when the pink-haired boy got up like it was nothing and leaped at the woman with his fist extended. Sonya rolled her eyes before she caught it with ease and retaliated it with a kick to his stomach, sending him flying back. Abby flinched when he made impact on the sand a second time, but again he got up with even more gusto than before. What exactly is he...? Sonya was rather pleased to see Naoto and the other candidates had arrived to the beach in a matter of minutes. For the most part, their speed seemed okay. She checked that part off of her list as she gracefully leaped off the rock and onto the sandy beach just as Naoto rose back up. "Didn't you want to teach me a lesson?" She asked with a smirk. The pink-haired boy roared and sprinted towards her, wildly throwing punches and kicks in all directions. Sonya dodged them all with ease, quickly growing tired of his shenanigans. She would hate to leave the rest out of the loop and still needed to answer their qu- Out of nowhere, Naoto threw a well-placed punch at her stomach. Sonya had no time to dodge and instead blocked his fist with an open palm. A moment later, she twisted his arm behind his back and pushed him down onto his stomach. She held him down, using just the right amount of force to not suffocate him but to still keep him restrained. Her trimmed eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She knew for a fact that this was Naoto's first time being shot with a Dying Will Bullet so he shouldn't have any control over his actions. Whether that punch was due to luck or skill was something she'd find out later. Sonya looked up at the confused teenagers, an emotionless look on her face as she continued to calmly restrain the thrashing boy. "As you can see, he isn't dead as all of you first believed. I shot Naoto with a Dying Will Bullet. If you all could focus on his forehead, you'll see the orange flame on his head." She pointed to the flame with her free hand, "This is a Dying Will Flame, a high-density form of energy that is refined from one's own life-force. Dying Will Flames are graded accordingly with their purity, which has a direct relationship with the strength of an individual's resolve. Among other things, this rate of purity serves to indicate how much of the special characteristics of the Flames are being drawn out. There are seven different types of Dying Will Flames, named after the seven phenomena in the sky: the Sky itself, Storm, Rain, Sun, Lightning, Cloud, and Mist. That is why the Vongola Boss and his Guardians are named after weather phenomena is because each person uses a different flame. I'll go into more detail during training on the different characteristics of each flame." Sonya retracted her hand and turned her attention to Benjamin and Cyril who had previously asked her some other questions. "The reason we are looking for the future Vongola guardians already is because the Decimo thinks it is time to start on your training. He and his Guardians started when they were around your age so why not keep that tradition going? It has brought about the greatest generation of Vongola Guardians since the 1st generation after all. Any other questions? And I'm asking for legitimate questions, not your damn complaints." Abby raised her hand. Sonya gave her a glare. "What?" "How about a comment?" "As long as it isn't stupid." "Okay," Abby nodded in understanding, "I think you killed Naoto." Sonya looked down and noticed that the pink-haired boy had indeed stopped moving. The Sky flame also had disappeared from his forehead. Releasing him from her hold, Sonya stood up and 'lightly' kicked Naoto's side. "Get up."
