At the moment, he has the following functions for his eyes: 1. Sight of the Beyond- Alexei configures his mutated optic nerves to increase the distance and accuracy of what he sees. As a skilled gunman, Alexei uses this configuration often; if not always. This sight takes the lowest toll on Alexei's energy. The sign that this configuration is being used is when Alexei's pupils turn yellow. 2. Sight of the Hidden- Alexei strains his mutated optic nerves and cornea to see through things. This sight can pierce through thin walls, barricades, and even clothing. However, this configuration only applies to what Alexei normally sees without any other configuration. This sight takes the heaviest toll on Alexei's energy, and extended use could be cause for sight problems. The sign that this configuration is being used is when Alexei's pupils turn red. 3. Sight of the Mind- Alexei's mutated eyes begin to exert extra effort into sight; causing Alexei to see 360 degrees around him. This sight takes a heavy toll on Alexei and as such should only be used on extreme cases. In addition to this, Alexei's sight is somewhat blurred due to the exertion of something unnatural. Black Gas Mask Important History - Alexei's life started with a couple of illegal russian immigrants in the USA. The family apparently lived a normal life up until Alexei was already 15 years old. Their family was sold out to the cops as the authorities rushed after them; being illegal immigrants, the family had no choice but to run on, and on. Things got heated as their retreat was accompanied by sounds of guns in the background. As the family was escaping, they met a friend down in the dark alleys of the slums. The family considered themselves safe; that was until their father's head kissed a bullet. Their so called 'friend' was actually their father's dealer, and the deal had gone bad. The sounds of gunfire once again resounded in the alleys as Alexei found himself separated from his family. Alexei began to live and survive on his own; doing some stealing and some scamming in order to get by. However, when he was 17, he met a person who had ruined his life. The man who killed his father. Grabbing a jagged knife, Alexei charged at the man; stabbing the figure madly. Suddenly, his eyes began to feel hazy as he saw things he couldn't have seen before. He could see inside the man, his knife piercing heart and lung. Alexei backed off as he got the man's weapon and ran off before the man's reinforcements could enact vendetta. Alexei pondered in silence his unexpected powers. He could now see beyond, and within things... It seems the utter trauma had released the mutation from his eyes, and made itself known just now. The young boy now realized his mission... To rid the world of these vile men in order to prevent the things, that happened to his father, from happening to the other innocents out there. It's been two years since his mission, and now, a professional assassin... Alexei Pavlov, now known as Deadbolt. The reason? Because corrupted men drop dead when they hear the bolt.
