Jak couldn't keep up with Naoto. Not to mention, she took a quick shortcut that led her to the beach just in time to Naoto crash land on the beach then promptly get the snot kicked out of him. Jak smiled, laughing at the scene. "Well, I made it just in time I guess." Jak listened to explanation on the various flames intently, nodding at each flame. She wondered what this 'rain flame' looked like. If she was the Guardian of Rain or whatever, it seemed she'd have to train and fight. She wondered what weapon she should use. It would be cool if she could use her bat, but Jak couldn't bring herself to believe it. For one, she'd look like some low ranked thug. For the second, it didn't really feel like a weapon as much as a tool to her. It wasn't an issue anyway. Sonya didn't seem like someone mean or awful, just very invested in what she did. Jak kind of pitied her, having to deal with kids like Naoto and her. Then Daisuke chimed in, and Jak had to force herself not to laugh loudly. "I'm sure she'll explain it all later. Besides, right now I don't think that we need to worry about flames. We just need to think about training for whatever Miss Sonya expects us to do. Besides, it'll all work out anyway." even Jak didn't really understand what Sonya was saying precisely, but she figured that she'd roll with it. "Oh! Miss Sonya, I was wondering why you decided to pick us. I mean, we're just a bunch of kids from a small town. If you guys want hardened criminals and mafia, you might want to try Venice." she rubbed the back and of neck and smiled.
