Assuming that this is still open to new characters (And players), I'd like to join in.Name: Franklin PennyAge: 42Gender: MaleOccupation: Vehicle Mechanic and Part Time LocksmithAppearance: 6'1", 230 pounds, Permanent dark tan (probably from all the grease) and leathery skin. Relatively muscular (given the work), but a light layer of pudge (beer?). Completely bald, but with an eternal 5 o'clock shadow of a beard/mustache and slate grey eyes. Looks like he shaved......two days ago. Scar along left cheek, probably a knife scar, and multiple scars on both hands, as if used to fighting. Multiple tattoos: 6" bloody knife on right bicep, 3" red heart w/ "Mom" inscribed inside it on the Left forearm, Japanese symbol for 'Warrior' on left side of neck (Actually means 'Pussy Cat', but that's a different story).Bio and personality: Franklin has grown up on 'the south side' of town his whole life. Average in school, never went to college. His father died in his sleep when Franklin was 6, but his mother never took it that hard. As Franklin was growing up, his mother, the tough lady that she was, taught him everything she knew about how to work on cars, bikes, motorcycles, and other vehicles. His life was always difficult, but never impossible. He got into fights almost weekly in school over one subject or another. The majority of the fights centered on whether or not his mother killed his father.During school, Franklin got a job working at a garage, helping his mother pay the bills. He never knew how his mother got money, and he never asked. He just knew that she would occasionally need Franklin to pay a bill or two. Before highschool ended, Franklin's mother died in a car crash....which was odd, because she never owned a car. This put Franklin back a bit and he dropped out of school. He started to focus on drugs and alcohol. Before he got too deep into that world, Franklin's boss, Mr. Greene, smacked some sense into him, literally. Mr. Greene found him on the streets and pretty much kicked his butt all the way back to the shop. And that's where Franklin pretty much stayed. He got a settlement when the IRS sold everything that his family owned, considering he was a minor at the time. He received just over $50k. Mr. Greene talked some sense into him again, getting him to invest it. Eventually, when he was 26, the money grew enough that Franklin was able to open his own shop, still on 'the south side of town'. He named the shop "Penny's", because he was running short on money and that's all the marquis that he could afford. Ever since then, he's run his own mechanic's shop. He's worked on choppers (not helicopters, but BIG bikes, like Harley Davidson's), crotch rockets and rice burners, old cars, new cars and their computer systems, boats, RV's, and even a stripped down Military Hummer or two. Over the last few years, Franklin has expanded his business into Locksmithing after taking a couple of courses on the subject. He still gets into the occasional fight, here and there, and mostly just in Bars and such. He drinks, but not heavily, not enough to be considered a 'drunk'. He doesn't smoke, and since his teenage years, he hasn't done any drugs. Definitely NOT a vegan, he loves being a 'meat and potatoes' kind of guy. He's had women in his life, but none of them stuck around long enough to get married. After his last tattoo, the 'Warrior' tattoo, he did a little bit of hard time. This is because, after a month or two, he found out what the tattoo actually meant, and so he went back and put the tattoo artist in the hospital with a broken jaw, 3 broken ribs, a broken arm, and a broken leg. His business suffered a bit, but after 8 months of good behavior, he got back out of the slammer and back into business. Now, MORE of this crazy stuff about zombies and the apocalypse.
Right now character acceptance is closed, at least for the moment. If you would like, I can pm you if/when slots become open again.
