She would, but gender roles are pretty heavy in Alegasiai(i'm assuming from the lack of female knights) and since Irina doesn't fit into the stereotypical female mold she doesn't see how she could be a wife. Kind of like real life, actually lol. x] Irina is breaking barriers hehe.
