I'm not skilled enough to completely create one from scratch at the moment, so I took an existing sprite and made a ton of edits and additions to it, including essentially recoloring and sharpening the sprite, removing several frames and rebuilding the ones I left, adding a beak and some streaks to make it look like it's flying rather quickly. I also added a purple fade on every other frame just for kicks and it turned out kinda good. The customer was "very satisfied", and I even got some approvals from other people. I'm happy with it.
